frame design

Whether you have a full BOM and CAD drawing ready for production or are completely new to bicycle fabrication, we can work together. We’ve designed and built frames for road, gravel, and mountain bikes—and everything in between. We’re as passionate about bicycles as our clients are, and we’re happy to provide design guidance where appropriate.

materials

Simple builds tig-welded frames and forks from titanium, aluminum, and steel. We can source bicycle-specific tubing from all of the major manufacturers including Columbus, Reynolds, etc. In addition, we use only the best, aircraft-quality titanium and US-sourced machined parts.

Prototypes

We’re happy to work through prototypes with you. For new customers, individual prototypes are charged at our full, one-off rate. For existing clients, periodic prototype fees can be recouped during eventual production runs.

Finishing

Simple currently offers limited in-house finishing options. For steel and aluminum frames, we can coordinate outsourced wet paint or powdercoat, or ship to the finisher of your choice. For titanium, we offer in-house brushed and media-blasted finishes. We are also able to make or source the small bits: decals, headbadges, grommets, etc. Just ask.
